Moffat on not having any Classic Who Doctors on the 50th anniversary special. (X)

The fact that we’re having the entire 50th anniversary year with that douchebag at the helm isn’t making me happy. When I first got into Doctor Who, Moffat had just started, and I was like, “Alright, he’s a fan. He’s written some good episodes. I have high hopes.” Over time, he’s slowly made me thoroughly dislike him, from his smarmy attitudes about what’s “good” and “not good” in the series’s past to his aborted story lines to this whole “not about looking back” crap with the 50th anniversary. What happened to “All Doctor Who is great”? Oh, wait. He must just have been saying that because he wanted people to shut up about how he sucks as a show-runner and can’t keep a cohesive story or consistent character going through a whole season.

It’s not like we’re asking for an entire year of pre-2005 things constantly returning. It would be nice to have one 60 minutes special to feature at least a few of the actors who helped create this show and made it the long-running franchise that it is today. To those new to the show, the “this is the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who” lead-in to the special should clue them in that people from 50 years ago might be present in the show they are about to watch.

#is it bad though that i watch this scene #and i think of if that had been rose in martha’s place #she wouldn’t have said budge up #she would have lain half on top of him #and her legs would have tangled in his #and her hair would have fallen across his shoulder and chest #and maybe at some point she falls asleep #and he’s just laying there looking at her #sleeping right up against him so perfect #but instead it’s martha and ‘budge up’ #and he likes martha he really does #but he can’t stop thinking about rose tyler and her yellow-gold hair brushing against his neck #and how warm she was and the way he could feel her breathing #feel her single heart beating slowly against his chest #siiiiiiiiigh

Awww, Disney princesses as cuties with their pets. Lovely. Just take a look at Belle and her Beast. I am melting over here. Adorable.
Don’t forget the mother princess of them all!
